Owner of Berwick Notary for 18 years Sandra Lee (Fetterman) Bannon,63, of Orange Street, Berwick, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the home of her son, James Michael Bannon, on Red Rock Road in Berwick.Born Nov. 21, 1944, in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Leah (Gensel) Hess and Myron Fetterman. Mrs. Bannon was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Berwick. She owned and operated the Berwick Notary for 18 years. Among her interests were bike riding, dancing and hiking. She hiked the Austrian Alps and Ireland. Surviving are her two daughters: Doreen, wife of Sam Esposito, of King of Prussia; Julie, wife of Matt Rishkofski, of Berwick; one son, James Michael Bannon, and his wife, Cathy, of Berwick; eight grandchildren: Kristen, Theresa, Danielle Esposito; Michael and Vanessa Bannon; Alexandra Rishkofski; Arielle Malatesta; and Zachary Rishkofski; two half sisters: Jean Hause of Selinsgrove; Joyce Captro of Selinsgrove; three brothers: Thomas Fetterman and his wife, Karen, of Berwick; Kenneth Houseknecht and his wife,
Marie, of Berwick; Alfred Houseknecht and his wife, Fran, of Berwick; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2008, from 6-9 p.m. from the Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, where a Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 25, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1730 Fowler Ave., Berwick, with the Rev. Francis J. Tamburro, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.
