Virginia Ann "Sissy" Mabry Brister, 37, of Senatobia, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Ms. Brister was a member of Crockett Church of Christ. Services were held Sunday, May 26 at Crockett Church of Christ with interment in Crockett Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Mabry, Ken Mabry, Rex Billingsley, David Strickland, Paul Mabry and Josh Strickland. Stanley Grimes officiated.

Ms. Brister is survived by her parents, Anne and Mike Mabry of Senatobia, MS; two brothers, Andy Mabry and Jon Mabry, both of Senatobia, MS; and her grandmother, Eunice Mabry of New Albany, MS. Sissy was preceded in death by her youngest sister,
Joyce Nicole Mabry .

Note: Sissy died waiting for her third kidney transplant.
