~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From the time Chris was a baby, he was the light of his parents and siblings lives. Chris enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He had many, many friends. Everyone loved him. He always had a nice thing to say about someone and kept a smile on his face.
Chris was all around athlete. He loved to play any kind of sport too. He was on the swim team, since he was 5 years old. He was on the baseball and football teams in jr. high and high school.
In 1996, he was the president of his senior class, and a member of the annual staff. He was also awarded the Presidential Physical Fitness Award.
On September 17, Chris left to go out before leaving he kissed and told his mother, he loved her and would be back in an hour. That was the last time his mother was to see or hear from Chris..
In less than 60 minutes, Chris' life was taken, a drive by shooter. Chris and two of his friends were at a traffic light, when a car pulled up beside them and opened fire.
Hitting one of the passengers, another bullet came crashing through the window, it missed the boy in the middle and then another bullet came flying into the cab of the truck, this one was a fatal bullet, striking Chris.
All this, in just a matter of seconds.. A young life taken..
Chris was a 17 year old child that had his whole life ahead of him. A bright, promising future. Robbed of his life by someone with no regard to another human being's life.
Chris is loved and missed by everyone that knew him. He touched a lot of lives in his short time on Earth.
He was a beloved son, grandson, brother and uncle..
