GENEVA McCLELLAN
Funeral services for Geneva McClellan, 82, of Chestnut Hill Road,
Crossville, who passed away Aug. 14, 1998, were held Aug. 17 from the Crab
Orchard Church of God of Prophecy, with burial in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 23, 1915, the daughter of Floyd and Veno Sherrill Monday.
Mrs. McClellan was a homemaker, and attended Crab Orchard Church of God of
Prophecy.
Survivors include her daughter, Willene Porter of Crossville; son, LeRoy
Kindred of Lake Tansi; brothers, Glenn and Bobby Monday, both of Crab
Orchard; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Veno Monday; husband,
Mack McClellan; daughters, Rita Johnson and Gene Kindred; sisters, Leona
Pugh and Edith Redwine; and brothers, Charles and Jessie Monday.
Pallbearers were Sam Monday, Raymond McDaniel, Rex Mullinax, Milton Brady,
Marvin Monday and George Walker.
Bro. Terry Bear officiated.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.


Wife of Leebert Kindred. They had four children - Jean, Willene, LeRoy and Rita. Her second husband was William F. (Mac) McClellan. They had no children. He and her daughter Jean were killed in an automobile accident in San Antonio, TX shortly after they were married on April 6, 1950.
