Daddy was a storyteller. He could tell you about everything that had ever happened from way back, And how I wish that I had written everything he had ever told me. He loved his family, friends and country. He served during WWII, but it was the only thing he would not talk too much about.
He was also a cook. Daddy and Uncle Heck would get together about every six months or so and cook up a big batch of homemade beef stew. And oh yeah, he could make biscuits. He told me he used to have a restraunt down in Holcomb, I think.
He was always tinkering with something or other. He was the only person who could aggarvate my Mom, and make her smile at the same time.
