J.B. Chaffin
J.B. Chaffin, 89, of Campbell was a loving brother, uncle and friend to all who met him.
He passed away Dec. 5, 2010.
He was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Campbell to Marvin Isaac and Maude King Chaffin.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He graduated at Lone Oak and later attended East Texas State University where he enjoyed welter weight boxing. Mr. Chaffin's occupation was welding.
He enjoyed life and loved people and made a great impact on anyone who met him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Felt and M.B. Chaffin; and sisters Opal Garren and Olene Moore.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Prairie Valley Cemetery.
