Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Dunn and Eva Gover Bogle, Sam was born on Wednesday, June 19th, 1912. He was the husband of Hazel Tarter Bogle who survives him; and the father of four sons, Sam "Bud", Frank, Donald and Jerry Bogle; and three daughters, Sue Stringer, Barbara Richardson, and Janice Leigh.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Lange and New Brothers Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Church Cemetery.
