Dies Victim of Pneumonia
James M Johnson, Spanish - American War Veteran, expires at his home.
James M Johnson 69 years old, an attendant at the Logansport State Hospital for the past several years and prior to that an Inspector for the PA RR died of pneumonia at 1:45 o'clock Thursday morning at his home in 214 1/3 Market St. He had been ill for two weeks.
Mr Johnson a veteran of the Spanish-American War and a member of Captain David Bender camp, was the son of Edward Johnson and a lifelong resident of this city.
Surviving are his wife, Emma: four children,Robert C, Howard R. and Miss Alda all at home and Mrs Helen Harnish of 116 Park Ave : a granddaughter: a brother Howard Johnson of 901 16th St and a sister Mrs Zanna Keever of 863 S Cicott St.
