Joseph John Dombrowski, age 75, of Center Line, Michigan died on Saturday, October 20,2012.

Beloved husband of Marilyn (Pierce) Dombrowski for 57 years.

Joe was born on on December 20, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Lottie (Koper) Dombrowski, who had just lost her husband and Joe's father, Joseph Dombrowski, just 4 months prior to Joe's birth.

Joe retired from the City of Center Line after 30 years as a Public Safety Officer. His retirement was honored by an article in the Macomb Daily.

Joe was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to being survived by his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by a sister in law, Connie Nowakowski, maternal Aunts, Margie Sliwinski and Cathy (Ed) Cox, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joe was predeceased by his father, Joseph Dombrowski, maternal grandparents, Katherine (Dolecki) Koper and John Koper, stepfather, Harry Nowakowski, his beloved Mother, Lottie Nowakowski, and his brother, Tom Nowakowski, and many Aunts and Uncles.



Visitation at the Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke on Monday, October 22 from 2-9 PM with a 7 PM Scripture.


Joe will be instate on Tueday, October 23, at 9:30 AM with 10 AM Mass at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish, St. Clement Chapel (formerly known as St. Clement Church) 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line.


Burial with full military honors at St Clement Cemetery.
