Milan, MI--Age 99, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at the Saline Evangelical Home. She was born November 14, 1900 in Wathemstowe, England to Joseph and Alice (Bailey) Hulbert. Gertrude was a member of Marble Memorial United Methodist Church, the Milan Senior Citizens and loved to write. Survivors include her six children, O. James (Evalyn) of Florida, Allen Edward (Joyce) of Montana, Patricia Ann Cunkle of Mooreville, Kenneth (Jordanne) of Maryland, Richard (Barbara) of California, and Elaine
Cousino of Morevile; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Annalle) Hulbert of CA; two sisters, Kathleen Nichols and Violet Scofield, both of FL. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Sommers. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Ocvhalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan with Rev. Irma Ward
officiating. Burial will follow at the Marble Park Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society (Research). Envelopes are available at the funeral home where friends may call Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.
