Services for Mrs. Frances Jo DeGeer, 53, a former longtime Phillips resident who was dead on arrival Friday morning at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Phillips United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton Mortuary.

Mrs. DeGeer had lived for the past three weeks in Missouri City, Texas., moving there from Lafayette, La. in 1973.

She was a member of the Phillips United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, W. Don; one Son, Eric of Missouri City, Tex.; three daughters, Lynn DeGeer of Groves, Diane DeGeer of Canyon, Aileen DeGeer of Missouri City and one brother, Alfred Swenson of St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. DeGeer was preceded in death by her son, William Don III, who died Sept. 22, 1972 in a helicopter crash in South America.

Pallbearers will be Sam Reck, Kenneth Jones, Wayne Cox, Arthur Sissel, Joed Forbus, Gene Rankin and J.D. Edmondson.

The family will be staying at the Jones residence, 1415 Bluebonnet.
