Ellen Peters Wyatt was the finest example of a Christian I have ever met, and I am proud to say that she was my great grandmother. She taught us to treat every day as it might be another person's last day on earth- as it very well could be. She had Parkinson's disease, with her hands shaking constantly, but that did not deter her from having a beautiful flower garden, or such things as making hand-squeezed homemade lemonade for her great grandchildren. She raised my mother, Donna Lee Wyatt Sharp, and my mother was a fine, kindhearted, easily-forgiving true "lady" who exemplifies Ellen's teachings. Since Parkinson's and death claimed her limbs, it is NOW that Ellen does truly dance in Heaven, glory to God in the highest.
