Nepco Employe Accident Victim; Is Badly Injured

Paul Ottenberg, an employe of the Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Company at its Nekoosa mill, is at Riverview hospital in a serious condition as a result of spinal injuries received when a pile of sulphate pulp toppled over upon him while he was at work cutting pulp in the basement of the Nekoosa machine room about 1:30 Sunday morning.

Ottenberg was cutting pulp from the bottom of a big pile when with-out warning a large mass of the material broke away and fell down upon him...

His condition is said to be extremely critical.

Paul Ottenberg of South Side died at 6:50 this morning in St. Mary's Hospital at Wausau as a result of spinal injuries received when a pile of sulphate pulp toppled over upon him while he was cutting pulp in the basement of the machine room of the Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Company mill at Nekoosa Sunday, October 30. He had been in a critical condition ever since his injury...
