Mr. William "Willie" Higdon age 56, of Water Valley, MS passed away November 14, 2006 in Baptist Memorial Hospital N-MS at Oxford, MS. He was a member of Campground Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15,2006. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday morning, November 16, 2006 in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with Trea Higdon, Jessey Higdon, Jr., Mike Beegle, Ron Beegle, Terry Varner and Ike Gilley serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include: two daughters, Dionne Haag of Trumann, AR and Dianna Nichols of Trumann, AR; sons, William Higdon, Jr of Plano, TX and Kelly Higdon of Oxford, MS; his mother, Mary Stroud Higdon of Water Valley, MS; brothers Sammy E. Higdon of Water Valley, MS and Jessey R. Higdon of Bruce, MS; sister Lucy Gilley of Dumas, AR; grandson Andrew Haag of Trumann, AR. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Reverend Sammie H. Higdon, sisters, Donna Conaway and Debra Overbey. And two nieces, Lashia Fiebb and Jamie Overbey.
