Robert "Bob" Livingston, 84, a retired residential contractor, native and resident of Baton Rouge, died peacefully at home Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Dorothy; a daughter, Dianne Sansone; sons, Tom and Jim Livingston; sister, Helen England; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bob Livingston; sisters, Katherine Cox, Micky Howell, Martha Esteb and Ruth Stewart; and brother, Leonard Livingston.
Bob was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II of the Seabees' 85th Battalion.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. at Zachary Seventh Day Adventist Church, to be conducted by Pastor Tommy Blount.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4962-402 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
