A memorial service for Carrie Laverne Smith of Harahan, La., will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at Brookhaven Funeral Home.
Visitation is Saturday from 1-4 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith, 61, died Feb. 22, 2004, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on March 17, 1942, to W. Vernon Smith and Iva Pearl Case Smith.
She was a registered nurse at Oschner's Hospital in New Orleans, La., where she worked in case management.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
