He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of VFW Post 1114, the Kennel Club and the Eagles Club. He was a district manager with Novelty Ice Cream (a division of DCA Foods) in New York City for more than 18 years before his retirement.
Robert was an avid traveler who enjoyed camping with his RV as well as spending time with his family. Survivors include his former wife and best friend, Carol W. Morris Moss of Lafayette; son, Doug Morris of Naples, Florida; daughter, Tara Cooper and husband, James of Lafayette; loving grandchildren, Brandon Roundtree, Brandy, Nicki and Danielle Payne of Lafayette and Tanya Drossner and husband, Marc of Ft. Worth, Texas; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his late parents, Margaret Walker Moss and Robert Moss, Sr.; brothers, John and Herschel Moss; niece, Cindy Moss.
