Mary Jane was a homemaker. She was married to Dwight O. Green. She was a 78 year member of the First Baptist Church, where she was active in the Euvenice Bible Class. She was past class president and editor of the Euvenice Class Newspaper. She was also a member of the Alice Findlay Circle, the Mission Society, the Glamour Gals club and the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Ladies Auxiliary. She was active in the Reitz High School and White School PTAs. She cofounded the hot lunch program at White School.
