She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Come Double Sunday School Class. Loraine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Loraine was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lazarus Layson; brothers, Carl, Walter, Anthony and Edward Weber; sisters, Marie Hensz, Lydia Veeck, Anna Matilda Zubiller and Frieda Merrick.
She is survived by her son, Robert Layson; daughter, Nancy Burke and husband Donald; grandchildren, Bart Burke and wife Sarah and Ashley Burke; great-granddaughter, Olivia Loraine; sister, Kathryn Edmonson; nieces; and nephews.
