Professional Wrestler, Manager. Born Gary Richard Williams, he started out as a wrestler in the Illinois and Wisconsin territories, appearing under the ring name "Play Boy" Gary Hart. He was also a booker for WCCW (World Class Championship Wrestling) along with Bill Mercer, Fritz and David Von Eric. They were the driving forces behind what was called the "Golden Years" of WCCW, 1982 to 1985. Along with being a wrestler and booker, he was thought to be one of the five greatest managers in the wrestling business. He managed some of greats such as: Roddy Piper, Dingo Warrior, Homicide, Nord the Barbarian, Kevin Sullivan, Dick Slater, Larry Zbyszko, Great Kabuki, Terry Funk, Bruiser Brody, Abdullah the Butcher, The Great Muta, Big John Studd, Dusty Rhodes, "Gentleman"Chris Adams, and Bret Hart among many others. In his wrestling career he won the NWA(National Wrestling Alliance) tag team titles on 3 occasions with the "Spoiler". He retired from wrestling in 1999. He was posthumously inducted into: the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame (2014), the NWA Hall of Fame (2016) and the WWE Hall of Fame (2020).
