James D. Beers, 48, of Akron, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, to join his parents, Darrell and Dorcas Beers and his sister, Sandra Beers-Westover.
He leaves behind his loving brother, Kenneth D. Beers, sisters, Patricia Schreiner and Kathryn Ryan. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Monday 1 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home (811 Grant St.), where friends may call from 12 noon until service time. Interment to follow at East Akron Cemetery. Donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
