She was a member of the Albright United Methodist Church, Loganton. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving her is one son, Ronald Lynn (Jeanne) Gettys, Loganton; three grandchildren, Valeria Anne Gettys, a student at the University of Pittsburgh; Melissa Marie Gettys and Robert Lynn Gettys of Loganton; a brother John W. "Jack" (Gloria) Harbach of Williamsport; two sisters-in-law, Amy A. (Neil) Lehman and Linda J. Gettys, both of Jersey Shore; and several nieces and nephews. Her long time companion, Kenneth Fisher of Jersey Shore, will miss her greatly. Barbara lost two children to cancer, Elaine Ann in 1969 and Robert Philip in 1977. Also predeceasing her were two brothers, Philip Emory Harbach and Larue Charles Harbach, and two sisters, Adeline Jane Harbach Mark Robison and Elaine Kay Harbach. The funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton, with Pastor Ken Geisewite officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Evangelical Cemetery, Loganton. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will provide flowers.
