Port Huron-Mae Victoria Dickinson Hartson, 88 died Friday, July 5, 1991 in Marwood Manor.
Mrs. Hartson was born Dec. 30, 1902 in Pipestone, Manitoba. She married William J. Dickinson, Feb. 23, 1926 in Marine City. He died Oct. 31, 1963. She married Wallace Hartson in Dec. 23, 1972 in Port Huron. He died Oct. 5, 1976.
Mrs. Hartson was a former member of Blue Star Mothers, the Salvation Army Golden Agers and the Senior Citizens Adult Activities Center. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by five sons and daughter-in-laws, Leroy and Madonna Dickinson. Harold and Rose Marie Dickinson, Donald E. and Betty Dickinson, James E. and Joanne Dickinson, Clarence J. and Kaye Dickinson, all of Port Huron; a son Russell L. Dickinson of Punta Gorda, Fla., two daughters and son-in-laws, Helen L. and James J. Carpa, of Port Huron and Carolyn K. and Francis Hamilton of Bartow, Fla., 24 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Hill of Port Huron; sister-in-law, Ella Dickinson of Highland City, Fla., a brother in-law and his wife, Russell and Ruth Dickinson of Cadillac; and a sister-in-law Thelma Bush of Davison.
She is preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Dickinson; a daughter, Dorothy Collins; and a sister, Jennie McDonald.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Arthur Smith Funeral Home-North Chapel. The Rev. Robert Mann, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday.
Pallbearers will be William, Robert, Mark, and George Dickinson, Steven Russell, and James Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bonnie Hornby and James Carpa.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Propyria Foundation.
