My Dad, was a Ma. State Police Officer
Dad felt it was his last chance to serve, and knew he wouldn't be assigned overseas, too old :) but felt he needed to do his share, he trained MP's in the infantry, taught some judo, in the Midwest at Fort Collins
and was assigned to a POW Camp where German and Italian prisoners where kept. Don't know if he was in IOWA or not in '43

One of his Duties was also in Hyde Park NY with the Roosevelt Family. When his time for serving came up, They asked him to stay with
the Secret Service Division.

Retired Secret Service Agent, with F.D.Roosevelt, H. S. Truman, and Ike. Retired from the U S Treasury Dept in the Late Seventies.


Worked for the NYC Dept.of Investigation during
the Eighties. Dad, even Made the NYC Papers, on One of his cases.

My Dad was Cremated and was buried with his wife(My Mom) on March 9 2005.

W W II Vet Rank SGT Was in the Military Police

The 1910 MA census, Boston has Mary(Peers) PETERS with husband George, he works for B&A Railroad as a brakeman,
he was born in PA. Children, Catherine is 2 and Theodore
is 9 months. Also living with them is Richard Collins
age 31, brother-in-law to George.
