Born July 1, 1912, in Timberville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clarence William and Ocie Life Shifflett. A homemaker, Mrs. Holsinger enjoyed cooking and shopping.
Survivors include five children, Ocie R. Bernstein and husband Barry of Wilmington, Del., Kenton T. Holsinger Jr. and wife Carolyn of Gettysburg, Bonnie L. Dixon and husband Robert of Woodsboro, Peggy M. Lenhart and husband Glenn of Walkersville, and Dannie W. Holsinger and wife Ann of Carroll Valley, Pa.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with the Revs. Fred Anderson and Sam Schmitthenner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Auxiliary Fund at Green Acres Nursing Home, 595 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, Pa. 17325.
