Funeral services conducted on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Jerre Hunter Sanders, age 87 of Lewisburg died Friday, May 27, 2011 at Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Sanders was a native of Marshall County and daughter of the late Edgar Burt and Edith Browning Hunter, Sr.
She was a retired school teacher, member of Lewisburg First United Methodist Church, and member of the Marshall County Retired Teachers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Chad Welch and a sister, Jane Hunter Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Phil Sanders of Lewisburg, son, David P. Sanders of Lewisburg, daughter, Judy Sanders (Joe) Goodman of Brentwood, sister, Jean Hunter of Lewisburg, and brother, Burt Hunter of Lewisburg. Two grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
