Mrs. Whitehead was born on Oct. 19, 1898, in Putnam County, TN, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Rice.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosetta Jackson of Cookeville, TN; 47 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Asberry Randolph; four daughters, Bessie Scarbrough, Linnie Bumbalough, Beulah Hunters and Avina Scarbrough; and four sons, Frank Randolph, Arb Randolph, Wallace Randolph and Hollis Randolph.
