Mr. Richardson was the son of Stephen Matthew Richardson and Sarah (Cloud) Richardson. He was survived by his wife, Louisa Margaret (Stidham) Richardson, and 12 children (8 girls, 4 boys). His death was attributed to Tetanus, after getting a splinter of wood caught under a fingernail.
