Savoy had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs, FL. He was a Christian by faith and attended First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs. He passed away at Miami Children Hospital after an extended illness and complication from spinal fusion surgery. Savoy loved his game boy, Darth Vader and Pokemon and was an avid Bill Elliott fan.
Savoy was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Corade (Al) Albert, and special friend, Debbie Barker.
Savoy is survived by his parents, Rob and Tanya Albert of DeFuniak Springs; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Christa Poelking, Joyce Roy and husband, Lew, from Bristol, CT, and Mimi Albert of DeFuniak Springs; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Poelking, of DeFuniak Springs; two sisters, Savannah and Samantha Albert; and one brother, Robby Albert, all of DeFuniak Springs. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins and friends.
A time of visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at First Baptist Church, with Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
