A six-year-old boy, Todd Abbott, of Kalamazoo, MI, was killed and at least twelve other spectators were injured when a vehicle crashed into the grandstands at Galesburg Speedway during a monster truck race. The driver had been knocked unconscious after jumping over one of the obstacles, the driver suffered a broken vertebra and head injuries.
