Kimberly Gail Englert, 50, of Blanchard, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born Jan. 23, 1958 in Lock Haven, a daughter of Harold R. and Sara E. Moore Englert, who both survive her in Blanchard.

Kimberly was a faithful and devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church in Blanchard, where she participated in the bell choir, was a member of the "Love Me Class," and took pride in being responsible for having water ready for Pastor Stan at the pulpit.

She was active in Special Olympics, particularly in bowling and track, and she enjoyed attending the annual special prom. She was an avid clothes shopper and enjoyed eating out.

In addition to her parents, Kimberly is survived by a brother, Harold F. "Harley" and his wife, Brenda C. Motter Englert, of Beech Creek, and three nieces, Aleisha F. Englert Leitch, Lindsay M. Englert and Meisha C. McDermit and husband Matt, and their two children, Kyleigh and Kullen.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Bald Eagle and Main streets, Blanchard, with the Rev. Stan D. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Cemetery, Blanchard. Visitation will be today, Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and Saturday for one hour prior to the services.
