Eva E. Knox, 98, passed away on January 14, 2007, at the Alma Healthcare Center in Alma, Arkansas. She had lived in Arkansas since 1999, and being the wife of a pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, she had also resided in Ohio, Kansas and Oklahoma. She was widowed in 1970, and soon after that moved to South Charleston, W.Va., near her daughter. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in South Charleston, W.Va.

Mrs Knox shared all of her married life with her husband in the ministry, serving as a Sunday School teacher, director and organist. She was always active in the Missionary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Bernard W. Knox, a long time pastor at the First Church of the Nazarene in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Maretta Mae Knox; her four siblings, and parents the Mr. and Mrs Rollie Wright, of Sublette, Kansas.

She is survived by her son, Dr. James B. Knox of Sublette, Kansas; three granddaughters; and six greatgrandchildren.

There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Memorial services are planned in May and the location will be determined at a later date.
