Age 40, died on August 27, 2006, from a tragedy that never should have happened. He is survived by his loving parents, Harriett and Bob Jackson, his loving brother, Greg Jackson, his loving grandparents, Harry and Wilma Wildhaber, his loving aunts and uncles, Paula and Bill Bingston, Linda Pfister and husband Tim Drake, his loving cousins, Shawn Bragg and his wife Jerilyn, Jesse Pfister and his wife Victoria, Jamie Charmack and her husband Barry, and also Richard Bragg his oldest cousin. Chris, Shawn, and Jessie were like the Three Musketeers. Now one is missing. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Macie, age 7, who is now left behind without her daddy. He is also survived by his wife, Joanna Rodriguez, and two stepchildren, Jeremy and Anna. Chris also leaves behind very many loving friends, which are too many to name. We thank you all for your loving support. The family is deeply mourning and missing him terribly, but we also know that he is with his Heavenly Father now and is at peace. A 40-year-old Roseville man died Sunday night of complications from a gunshot wound suffered earlier this month in Placer County, the Sacramento County Coroner's office reported.
Christopher Lee Jackson died at 8:43 p.m. in a Sacramento hospital. He was shot in the neck Aug. 13 in what is under investigation as a homicide, the coroner's officer reported.

Jackson was shot in his home on Magpie Court in Roseville.
