Richard was born March 14, 1944, in Charles City, the son of Dale and Arlene (Fritze) Frazee. He graduated from Charles City High School, and served his country in the United States Army from July 6, 1962 until his honorable discharge on July 8, 1965.
Richard was employed for 31 years with John Deere out of Waterloo before his retirement. He was a member of the Charles City VFW. He enjoyed music, computers, fireworks, guns, trains, guitars, banjos, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his four children, Ricki (Dave) Olson and her daughter Sarah of Waterloo; Dale Frazee and his son Richard of Bellingham, Wash.; Kim (Jeff) Wedeking and her children Shawna, Joanna "Do-Do" and Mark of Clarksville, Iowa; and Valerie Frazee and her children Elizabeth, Cassidy and Timothy of Charles City.
Survivors also include one great-granddaughter, Amber Bedard, and one expecting great-grandson, Kenny; and two brothers, Dennis Frazee of Waterloo and Doug Frazee of Columbia Heights, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Arlene Frazee. Memorials may be directed to the Family for memorial of their choice.
