Maxine V. Rhees, age 89, Indianapolis, formerly of Danville, died April 19, at Lakeview Manor, [in Indianapolis]. Services are today, April 22, 10 a.m. at the Baker Funeral Home, Danville with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Continental, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N. Meridian Street, Suite B4, Indianapolis 46209. Born in Continental, Ohio, on May 13, 1914, she graduated from high school there. She worked for Detroit Diesel Allison Transmission Division for 23 years retiring in October 1976. She was the widow of Cecil Ford Rhees who preceded in 1952. Survivors include a son, Mike Rhees of Clinton; daughters, Donna Hutchek of Avon, Myrna Byrd of Greenwood and Marcia Slatter of Freemont, Ohio; sister Clarice Ufheil of Piqua, Ohio; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
