T. Pauline Glassburn, 75, of Sunset Lane, South Bend, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Pauline worked for Ball Ban (Uniroyal) and then for the Studebaker Corp. She then worked with her husband Raymond at their Culligan franchise until it was sold in 1968. A short time after that she worked for the South Bend Police Department.

Pauline was born on Nov. 2, 1929, in South Bend, and has lived in this area all her life. She married Raymond H. Glassburn on Dec. 19, 1946, in South Bend, and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1999.

Pauline is survived by one son, George H. Glassburn III of Niles, Mich.; two granddaughters, Michelle (Mark) Ciesielski and Treva Marie Glassburn, both of South Bend; and two great grandsons, Sean Joseph Ciesielski and Dylan Glassburn.

Sandra Sue Sam, Pauline's daughter, preceded her in death on June 11, 2004.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday in the funeral home.
