George Stettler came from Pennsylvania to Ohio and was one of the first settlers in the Miamisberg area. His wife, Eva Catherine Meyer Stettler is buried beside him. The cemetery is at the junction of land that he gave to four of his sons. There was a Stettler Church on the site until a few years ago when it collapsed and had to be removed.
