Catherine CARR Hill, 84, of Yazoo City, passed away Aug. 28 of heart failure at her home.
Funeral services were Sept. 1 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
Father Noel Prendergast officiated. Stricklin-King Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Ms. Hill was a parishioner of St. Mary's and a homemaker. She was a member of the Yazoo Garden Club and the Yazoo Art Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Hill; and a daughter, Lisa Crow.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah King and her husband Malcolm of Edenton, NC, and Michelle Vandevere and her husband Dennis of Yazoo City; a son, Britton Hill and his wife Mary Ann of Yazoo City; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tim Nolan, David Ogle, Jeppie Barbour, Tommy Lutz, Heath Stuart and Robert Grant.
Honorary pallbearers were John Ellzey, Michael Russell, Charles Ward and John Ellzey.
