Karacozoff, Kristina Marie
9-21-83 – 4-6-00
On April 6, 2000, our precious child, Kristi, left this world and entered into the gates of heaven. When the Lord created Kristi, he filled her with a sweet and gently spirit, an incredible depth of inner strength, and a burning desire to work for good in this world.
Kristi's fondest desire was to be a pediatrician because she had such a soft spot in her heart for the health of babies and children. Kristi suffered through a lengthy illness with as much courage, dignity and bravery as was humanly possible. We'll never forget how delightful it was to watch her beautiful brown eyes sparkle, her gorgeous brunette hair wave gently in the breeze and her vibrant smile illuminate a room. During her all-too-brief sixteen years with us, she touched our hearts in so many special and awesome ways. We are saddened beyond belief to have to say "Goodbye for now", yet her faith in God was incredibly strong and we are strengthened by the knowledge that she is in God's arms forever more.
Kristi was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Margaret and Ivan Karacozoff and her aunt Judy Duke. She leaves behind her adoring parents, Kirk and Susan Karacozoff and her loving brothers, Jonathan and Joel. In addition, Kristi is survived by her maternal grandparents, Russ and Helen Heffelfinger, Uncle Keefe and Aunt Terry (Carissa and Kelly). Aunt Sharon and Uncle Hayden (Nicole), Uncle Dave and Aunt Ingrid (Jill, David and Alexandra). Dogs – Snickers and Bear and friends, family.
Services will be held Tuesday April 11th at 3:00 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1615 Morse Ave., Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in remembrance of Kristi Karacozoff to Transplant Hope UCDMC Health Science Advancement, 4900 Broadway Ste 1150, Sacramento, CA 95820. Arrangements Nicoletti, Culjis and Herberger Funeral Home.
Kristi, Thank you for being the BEST daughter ever! We love and will miss you every single day! Can't wait to see you in heaven! Love Always, xoxo Mom & Dad.
