CARDELLINO - Carlo "Tommy the Tailor," 88, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Feb. 9, 2006. Born June 27, 1917, in Johnstown, son of Nunzio and Asunta (Visconti) Cardellino. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Tommy and Valfredo; and grandson, Damian Paul Leonard. Survived by wife, the former Darlene Fertick; children, Carlo, married to Donna Gregg, Johnstown; Debra, married to Dr. Larry Beatty, Johnstown; and Cindy, married to Paul Leonard, Boswell; sisters, Jovena Gasbarro and Hortense Coco, both of Florida; grandchildren, Heather Clutter, Erin Mikolich, Chad, Ryan and Charity Heidenthal, Carly and Tony Cardellino and Brett and Emily Beatty; and seven great-grandchildren. Member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Carlo was the owner and operator or Tommy the Tailor. Veteran of World War II. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Gary L. Tustin. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
