Frank Marrone, age 102 of Deptford, NJ born in Philadelphia on Sept. 3, 1909 died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was an avid reader and student of the Bible. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic having worked for Local#19 of Philadelphia for over 50 years. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Mary of 61 years, his son Frank and his wife Randy, and his granddaughter Elizabeth. Survived by his precious daughter Lois (Charles), son Sam (Karla), 8 grandchildren Chuckie, David (Janeen), Frank P Marrone Jr, Miranda (Scott), Andrew (Sandra), Jennifer, Rachel, Samantha (Gabe), and 2 great grandchildren. Most important in Frank's life was his family, The Bible, and his love for The Lord Jesus Christ. He was also an advid Philadelphia sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 9 to 11 AM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville, NJ.
