Services will be 11 a.m. Friday March 14 in Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. March 13. Burial will be in Acton Cemetery. She was the widow of Omar M. Rooks Sr. Survivors include son, Omar M. Rooks Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Kell and Edith Hadley; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Phillip and Ronnie.
