Harold Floyd McMurray, 84, of Avon, passed away Monday, January 30, 2006 at Clarian West Medical Center. He was Vice President & Secretary at Freyn Bros Mechanical Contractors for 41 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1946. He was a member of Garfield Park United Church of Christ, Hendricks County Antique Tractor Club, Mechanical Contractors Association and farmed part-time in Hendricks County since 1952. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2006 at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel, with calling there 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds, 955 E. Main St., Danville, Indiana 46122 or Mark Fuchs Scholarship Fund co Garfield Park United Church of Christ, 743 E. Pleasant Run Pkwy. S. Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46203.
