Morrison "Tuffy" Sams was the son of Bill Sams and Elwanda Wolford Sams and was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1961 and attended Texas Tech. He had lived in Garland, Texas since 1964 and was a stock trader.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bill Sams.
He is survived by wife, Linda Sams; daughter, Lisa Sams; sister, Tommie Sue Bishop and husband Jimmy; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services were Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bill Sams.
