Rosemary Wood, loving wife, mother, sister and precious friend went home to be with her heavenly Father. Rosemary was born on August 30, 1951 in Houston, Texas. She accomplished many things in her life, but the greatest of those accomplishments would be mother of John and Natalie.

Rose is survived by her loving husband, her son and daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law, her granddaughter, her loving mother and three precious sisters.

Rose's life touched many from her customers at Spring Branch Bank, to her friends and acquaintances at Cameron where she worked for the past 10 years and many who were blessed with her friendship. "A Godly Mother need not boast about her accomplishments they will be seen by others"..Proverb 31:31. Even in her death, the fruit of her hands lives on in each of us.

Family and friends celebrated her life on Wednesday, February 13th, during visitation at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Services were held Thursday, February 14th at Woodlawn Funeral Home.

From the Houston Chronicle, Rebruary 13, 2008.

NOTE: Rose's funeral service was at Woodlawn Cemetery and her flowers displayed in the Wood Family plot, but she was actually laid to rest at the Houston National Cemetery. Thank you to her son, John R. Wood III, for her burial location.
