Lucie Marie Evans was born in Sherman Township, Fairfield County, Connecticut, the daughter of James Nelson Evans and Fannie M. Kellogg. She was the wife of Charles Hunt Osborn. They were married on November 24, 1879 in Fairbury, Nebraska. She and Charles had four children: Dwight Evans Osborn, Fannie Harriet Osborn Read, Nannette Osborn Perry, and Seth Payne Osborn. Lucie died of pneumonia after a short illness. Charles is buried in the plot next to her at Gamble Cemetery.
