Archie Lee Trigg, 59, of Route 2, Elkhart, Texas, died at 11:55 p.m. on February 23, 1973, at Memorial Hospital in Palestine following a lengthy illness. Burial in Pilgrim Cemetery was under the direction of Hassell & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Trigg was born January 12, 1914, in Anderson County, a son of the late Daniel Robert Trigg and Cora Wells Trigg. A lifetime resident of the county, he was employed by Rayburn Moore Wholesale Drug. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart and during World War II, served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Adelle Bennett Trigg of Elkhart; son, Daniel Robert Trigg of Clute; daughters, Martha Ann Rogers of Palestine and Debralea Thompson of Athens; grandchildren, Leigh Anne Rogers, Kathryn Trigg, Bill Rogers, Julie Trigg, Jennifer Thompson and Tracye Rogers; one brother, Hayden Trigg of Palestine; three sisters, Mrs. Alton (Mary Lois) Morehead and Mrs. Weldon (Gracie) Easley, both of Elkhart and Mrs. Lloyd (Darlene Louise) Brown of Houston.
