GRAPELAND - Services for Eugene Trigg, 76, Grapeland, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Guiceland Cemetery with the Rev. David Bradley officiating under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, Grapeland.

Mr. Trigg died Sept. 30, 2007, in a Crockett hospital.

He was born Dec. 22, 1930, in Anderson County to the late Lee and Cora Hancock Trigg. He retired from the Army and also tested military equipment for four years. He owned several apartments in the Houston area and was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fort Smith, Ark. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Trigg; sisters, Gladys and Elcie; and brothers, Wilborn Trigg, Hassle Trigg and James Trigg.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Joyce Trigg, Grapeland; sisters, Melba Prince, Pasadena, and Barnie Allison, San Antonio; stepchildren, Kenneth Raney, Oklahoma, Jeff Raney, Georgia, and Gary Raney, Washington; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
