Mino was a very protective cat towards "his boy" (my son). My (then) 17 month old son named him by saying "Mine, no"; meaning the kitty was his pet. We thought it was cute and the name stuck.
Mino was the bully of the neighborhood and fathered 2 litters of kittens with Mama Cat who lived next door. He chased dogs out of his yard and loved to play in an empty bathtub. He sure had attitude, but was affectionate too.
