Barbara Gail Stein, 49, of Savannah, died Monday, June 27, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bessie I. Stein and her aunt, Rachel S. Lipsitz. Barbara was born in Savannah and attended local schools. She worked at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital for nearly 30 years as a Lab Technologist. She was of the Jewish faith. Barbara is survived by her two sisters, Sarah M. Stein of Savannah and Rochelle Stein of Atlanta, GA; uncle, Simon Lipsitz of Savannah; a cousin, Maxine S. Lipsitz of San Francisco, CA; two little dogs, Annie and Tasha and other relatives, many friends and colleagues. Graveside services were held on Monday, June 27, 2005 at Bonaventure Cemetery with Rabbi Avigdor Slatus officiating.
